  Shoshone Falls
This park was established in 1932 after the land was donated by Frederick J. Adams and Marth Stone Adams to the City of Twin Falls. Thousands of people travel to visit the falls where water tumbles 212 feet to the canyon floor.

Tthe falls at peak flow rate in 1997 -- 30,000 cubic feet per second (cfs) flowed over the falls. One cfs equlas 449 gallons per minute. For current flows please see the link on the main Parks & Recreation page.

Recent renovations to the area include improved overlook, fencing and parking areas. Expect to see even more improvements over the next several years.

Open daily year-round
Hours 7 am - 9 pm

Cost: $3.00 per car/$20 per bus

Annual permits are $25 and are available at City Hall and the Parks and Recreation Office.



Skateboard Park
The skate park was first opened in the summer of 2001. The park is open from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm every day. There is no fee to use the facility however some general rules do apply:

Skate at you own risk!

The use of protective equipment including helmets, knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards are strongly recommended.

The skate park surface is extremely dangerous when wet.

Help keep your skate park clean, put trash in the cans.

Due to the damage they can cause bicycles are not allowed.

This is your park, please take care of it.

Respect our neighbors, avoid excessive noise.

City of Twin Falls is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Glass containers prohibited.

Parks Department
The public is invited and encouraged to use the city parks. BBQ pits and picnic tables are free to use on a first come first serve basis, unless the area has been reserved.

Reserving a Shelter
The public is able to reserve park shelters for scheduling of events such as: class or family reunions, company picnics, and large gatherings. Those wishing to reserve a shelter need to complete a reservation form and pay the $25 reservation fee. To reserve a park shelter call the Parks and Recreation Office at 736-2265.

Dierkes Lake


The City of Twin Falls purchased this land in 1967 to expand and improve the park. Recent improvements include an expanded swimming area and two covered shelters. Enjoy a hike around Dierkes Lake by accessing the trail on the east side of the lake past the docks. The trail eventually winds around to the west side of the lake past the existing archery range and rock-climbing areas.


This beautiful park includes:

Swimming areas with lifeguard supervision June-August.

Hiking Trails

City Park.pdf
The City Park of Twin Falls is located on Shoshone Street between 4th and 6th avenues east. It is very close to the orignial town site and is the heart of many celebrations through out the year.

Cascade Park
Cascade Park is located on Stadium Blvd just east of Madrona. Recreation opportunities include; play ground equipment, tennis courts, restrooms, picnic tables, and a large grassy area.

During the summer of 2002 the tennis courts were resurfaced.
